* Provides safety and security to the facility through proper youth supervision. * Provide supportive environment for youth and offer supervision for resident youth during activities. * Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and offers safety, consistent care supervision, and overall support to residents. * Provide daily security and up-keep of facility. * Participate in the implementation and monitoring of client case plans. * Logs and tracks daily youth activity. * Assign and supervise chores. * Prepare meals as needed. * Screen clients, conduct initial intakes, and administer client satisfaction surveys when directed. * Complete required initial paperwork for clients. * Oversee shelter clients self-administering all medication. * Ensures that the facility behavior management system is enforced in a consistent and fair manner. * Participate as a member of the facility treatment team, assisting youth with meeting performance goals. * Completes observation checks and provides role model behavior to assist youth with problem solving and competency development. * Minimize adverse affects of confinement by supporting the Youth physical, emotional, educational, and social development in an atmosphere which is as nonthreatening as possible.
